Angie Childers
Hospital Manager
Angie Childers brings over seven years of experience in veterinary medicine to her role as Practice Manager at Riverside Vet. With a background in both general practice and emergency care, Angie has held a variety of roles—client service, patient care, leadership, and now operations management. Her well-rounded perspective allows her to understand the day-to-day realities of veterinary teams and the people they serve.
Angie was drawn to veterinary medicine by a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families. Along the way, she developed a passion for supporting the emotional well-being of the professionals who care for them. A certified life coach, Angie uses her training to mentor staff, navigate workplace challenges, and help create a positive, sustainable team culture.
One of her proudest achievements is earning her life coach certification, which has equipped her with the tools to support veterinary teams through leadership challenges, workplace stress, and personal development.
Outside of the clinic, Angie enjoys exploring nature—whether hiking mountain trails or relaxing by the beach—and spending time with her husband, three grown children, and three grandchildren. She loves reading, coloring with her favorite pencils, and is currently learning embroidery. At home, Angie shares life with Judith, a spirited “Sheagle” who sings along to country and gospel songs, and two cats: Taz, who is affectionately unpredictable, and Flossy, a once-shy former clinic cat who has found her voice in Angie’s home.
