Jessica G.
Veterinary Assistant
Jessica is a skilled veterinary technician with 10 years of experience, rooted in her upbringing on her parents’ hog farm and her father’s mobile rabies clinic. Despite earning a degree in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University, her passion for animals led her to a career in veterinary medicine, recently graduating from Penn Foster College’s Veterinary Technician Program.
Jessica excels in all aspects of animal care, including vaccinations, surgery monitoring, and client support, and she believes in the importance of teamwork within the clinic. She shares her life with three cats: Milo, an adventure-loving “dog cat”; Mittens, a once-shy snuggler; and Marty, a playful rescue kitten. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, and dancing to celebrate life’s moments, inspired by Grey’s Anatomy’s “dance it out” mantra.
Jannyne R.
Veterinary Technician
Jannyne is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 23 years of experience in general practice, specialty, and emergency medicine. Her passion for veterinary care began after the tragic loss of a beloved pet, inspiring her to dedicate her life to helping animals and their families.
At Riverside Vet, Jannyne is committed to providing compassionate, attentive care to every patient. She takes pride in her longevity and dedication to the field, continuing to show up each day with the same passion that started her journey.
At home, Jannyne has a full house with six cats, three dogs, and two snow leopard geckos—each with their own unique personality. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing at the beach, reading, and spending time with her daughter, who attends the University of South Carolina. She also has a love for all things paranormal and horror.
Madi C.
Client Liaison
Madi is the dedicated Client Liaison at Riverside Vet, bringing five years of experience in veterinary medicine to the clinic. Her background includes working in reception, where she developed strong communication and organizational skills.
Madi’s passion for veterinary medicine stems from her love for animals and her desire to connect with like-minded people. In her role, she lends an ear to clients, offering support and empathy, while also uplifting the veterinary team.
A notable professional achievement for Madi is her experience as a team lead, demonstrating her leadership abilities and dedication to her work.
Madi is also a proud pet owner of two rescues: Nymeria, a 4.5-year-old Collie/Shepherd mix who is sweet, intelligent, and loves everyone, and Salem, a 4-year-old black long-haired cat who is cuddly, goofy, and loves making biscuits.
Outside of work, Madi enjoys reading, exploring nature, playing card and video games, watching movies, and cuddling with her animals. A quirky fact about Madi is her love for learning about random facts and topics, which adds to her vibrant and curious personality.
Madi’s compassion, experience, and enthusiasm make her an invaluable member of the Riverside Vet team.
Megan M.
Veterinary Assistant/Client Liaison
Megan stands at the heart of our veterinary clinic, serving as both a vital Client Liaison and a skilled Veterinary Assistant. With 15 years of comprehensive experience in animal care and client services, Megan’s role is multifaceted and integral to the smooth functioning of our clinic.
In her capacity as a Client Liaison, Megan excels in connecting with pet parents, understanding their concerns, and making sure they receive the support, education, and care their pets need. She is the welcoming face that greets pet owners, answers queries, and ensures a seamless experience for both clients and their furry companions. Megan’s expertise extends to managing client communications, appointments, and addressing various needs to foster a positive and caring environment within the clinic.
As a Veterinary Assistant, Megan’s hands-on role involves providing crucial support to our veterinarians and the broader care team. She actively participates in medical procedures, assists in examinations, and ensures the well-being of animals during their stay at the clinic. Megan’s role is not just administrative; it’s a dynamic engagement with the health and happiness of our patients.
Megan loves animals at the clinic and at home. She has a goofy and playful Golden Retriever named Kevin, and Winnie, a rescued and affectionate dilute tortoiseshell cat.
When she’s not caring for Greer’s furry friends, Megan loves reading, traveling, sailing, snorkeling, and home décor and projects! She’s a self-described foodie and wine lover. Her family was the 2022 Ambassador Family for March of Dimes and she is very involved in non-profit work. You’re in good hands with Megan.
Jamison A.
Veterinary Assistant
Jamison brings four years of hands-on experience and a heart full of purpose to her role as a veterinary assistant at Riverside Vet. A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Science, her passion for animals is rooted in her faith and a lifelong calling to be a voice and source of healing for pets in need.
At Riverside Vet, Jamison plays a vital role in providing high-quality, fear-free care. She’s known for her calm presence, strong patient handling skills, and commitment to creating a comforting environment for every furry friend who walks through the door. From gathering detailed histories to assisting in complex procedures, she ensures each pet receives thoughtful, attentive care.
Outside of the clinic, Jamison spends her time reading, trying new restaurants with friends, and dancing—line, swing, and even ballroom! She shares life with Crue, her 80-pound lab/shepherd mix full of energy and love (named, of course, after Mötley Crüe). Jamison’s ultimate goal is to attend veterinary school, combining her academic background and hands-on experience to become a veterinarian dedicated to both medicine and compassion.
Haley M.
Veterinary Assistant
Haley is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at Riverside Vet, where she plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of furry patients. Her responsibilities include assisting with examinations, drawing and running bloodwork, and helping with various medical procedures. With a compassionate approach, Haley ensures each pet feels happy and loved during their visit.
Haley’s journey in veterinary medicine began in 2023 during her senior year of high school when she interned at Riverside Vet. This experience solidified her passion for animal care and inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Almost a year into her professional journey, Haley has already made a significant impact and received the Senior Capstone Award for excellence in her internship.
Haley’s love for animals extends to her own 13-year-old Goldendoodle, Brice, who is known for his laid-back and loving personality. Outside of work, Haley enjoys a variety of personal interests. She was a competitive dancer for 15 years and has a deep love for Disney, which inspired her graduation trip.
With a blend of professional dedication and personal passion, Haley is a valued member of the Riverside Vet team, committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Dr. Liza Price, DVM
Owner and Veterinarian
Liza Price is the owner, founder, and lead veterinarian at Riverside Vet. Liza moved to Greer as a teenager and after practicing veterinary medicine all over the Upstate, Dr. Price is excited to come home again. She was an Animal Science major at Clemson University and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 2013.
Liza has been working in veterinary medicine since she was 16 years old and has been a general practice veterinarian for over 10 years. She grew up on a farm with horses and competed in Hunter/Jumpers throughout high school with her horse – Wheel. Dr. Liza Price discovered her love for veterinary medicine as she watched the family veterinarian care for their horses. She is passionate about creating a space where everyone who walks in the door feels cared for – clients, pets, and employees.
Dr. Price has a 2-year-old mutt named Chili who she adopted from the humane society. Chili had 12 puppies and was heartworm positive. She is now negative and happy to be a member of the family. You may get to meet Chili as she sometimes gets to go to work with Dr. Price. (Sleeping in the office is so much more exciting than sleeping at home.)
Outside of the office, Dr. Liza Price works hard to find balance and space to enjoy all aspects of life with her husband Tyler, daughter Emma, Chili, and her many thriving plants. She loves to travel, kayak, sing karaoke, and is always up for a trip to a National Park or Harry Potter World.
Dr. Price is genuinely interested in your experience at Riverside Vet. If you have a question or a concern – please don’t ever hesitate to reach out to her!
Dr. Caylen Alexander, DVM
Veterinarian
Caylen Alexander, our dedicated Associate Veterinarian, has been making a difference in the world of veterinary medicine for the past 3 years. Her journey into this field began in 2013 when she worked as a veterinary assistant in Landrum, SC while pursuing her undergraduate degree. She grew up riding horses and initially dreamed of opening her own barn, but it was a fateful shadowing experience in a veterinary clinic that truly captured her heart, steering her towards a career focused on caring for both patients and clients.
As an Associate Veterinarian, Caylen plays a vital role in our clinic, providing exceptional care to our four-legged companions. Her daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive exams, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, and performing surgeries to ensure the well-being of our beloved patients.
Her most cherished achievements revolve around personal growth and a commitment to becoming a better veterinarian each day. At the heart of her world are her beloved pets: Lettie, a sweet and goofy 7-year-old Catahoula, Lucy, a feisty 10-year-old Heeler mix, and Oakley, her 6-year-old Quarter Horse with the BIGGEST personality!
When she’s not helping pets and their parents at Riverside Vet, Dr. Alexander enjoys riding horses, playing guitar, singing, and crafting. She’s a loving mother to her son and daughter and enjoys spending quality time with her family. And while she’s not a fan of Mexican food, she was once part of an acoustic band. Caylen’s passion for veterinary care and her rich, diverse interests make her an invaluable member of our team.
Dr. Breanne Stauffer, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Breanne Stauffer has been practicing veterinary medicine for three years, but her passion for the field started long before that. Growing up with a grandfather who was a veterinarian, she was immersed in the profession from an early age, developing a lifelong love for both animals and the people who care for them.
Veterinary medicine became the perfect bridge for her passion for helping both pets and their owners. She is committed to providing the highest quality care while creating a safe, welcoming environment for clients. Beyond patient care, she thrives on building strong relationships within the veterinary team, fostering a positive and supportive workplace.
One of Dr. Stauffer’s most significant professional achievements was helping grow a practice from zero to nearly 2,000 clients. While she ultimately pursued a new opportunity, the experience deepened her understanding of veterinary business growth and client relationships, skills she now brings to Riverside Veterinary Clinic.
At home, Dr. Stauffer shares her life with two beloved pets: Rosie, a seven-year-old mini Goldendoodle with a perfect mix of sass and sweetness (and an adventurous stomach), and Penelope, a one-year-old domestic medium-haired cat who acts more like a dog, loves water, and prefers hair ties over traditional cat toys.
Outside of work, Dr. Stauffer enjoys thrifting, cooking, traveling, and spending time outdoors. A true crime enthusiast, she is always eager to learn new things and appreciates the unique stories and perspectives of the people around her. She credits her mother as her biggest inspiration in life. And for a fun fact—although left-handed, she does almost everything right-handed!
Dr. Stauffer is thrilled to be part of the Riverside Veterinary Clinic team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Emily C.
Veterinary Assistant
Emily has 11 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with a background in small animal, large animal, and emergency care. Her diverse experience allows her to confidently support the doctors and provide compassionate, skilled care to every patient she meets.
She chose veterinary medicine because she loves helping people keep their furry family members healthy and happy. As a technician and assistant, Emily focuses on supporting the doctors while ensuring patients and clients feel cared for and comfortable. One of her proudest professional accomplishments has been learning to run endoscopy procedures, expanding her role in advanced patient care.
At home, Emily has three pets: Grouse, an English Shepherd; Jazzy, a Labrador; and Myrtle, her cat. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and cooking—especially baking homemade breads. And while she can handle just about anything in vet med, she happily admits she draws the line at drool!
