Carol Anna grew up with all kinds of animals and knew from a very young age that she was passionate about caring for animals. Horses have been part of her life since she was 5 years old and have made her the compassionate, caring person that she is today. She’s been working in veterinary medicine since she was 16 and is grateful to have discovered what she loves at such a young age. 

As a Veterinary Assistant here at Riverside Vet, Carol Anna ensures that every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well-cared for during their visit. She assists our veterinarians with various procedures, from examinations and vaccinations to laboratory tests and surgical preparations.

Carol Anna possesses excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of animal behavior. Beyond the technical aspects, Carol Anna has a special ability to connect with both pets and their owners. She offers empathy, education, and compassionate support, easing anxieties and creating a positive experience for all.

Carol Anna has a 4-year-old yellow Lab named Fenway. She loves baking, experimenting with new recipes, taking care of her farm and skeet shooting and hopes to someday be able to cross both of her eyes at the same time. 🤣
