Who can sign up for a primary care plan?
Riverside Vet is excited to offer our canine (puppy, adult, senior) and feline (kitten, adult, senior) plans to all pet parents. It’s one of the ways we want to say thank you!
Is this pet insurance?
No, this is not insurance. Our plans cover primary and preventative care services that your pet needs throughout the year. While pet insurance helps with illness and injury costs, our care plans ensure your pet stays healthy through routine care. And unlike traditional insurance plans, a primary care plan also has no breed, age, or preexisting condition restrictions! This is a subscription-based plan designed by Riverside Vet and allows you to budget for your pet’s expenses via a monthly primary care subscription plan
What is the in-hospital credit (Pet FSA)?
Upon signing up, you receive immediate access to an in-hospital credit, which we call a Pet Flexible Spending Allowance (Pet FSA). You can use this for unexpected needs like dental cleanings or sick visits. Plus, 75% of any unused balance rolls over to the next plan year!
How does this plan help me care for my pet?

What is PetCentric Health?
PetCentric Health partners with Riverside Vet to provide a solution that allows pet parents to pay for their pet’s care through a monthly subscription offering. Designed by the vets at Riverside, the plan covers your pet’s essential healthcare needs for the year. It also gives you financial control and predictability by spreading costs out over the year.
What if I don’t use the preventative products included in the plan (Simparica Trio)?
No problem! You can use any preventative product your vet recommends. You can still be reimbursed for the product up to the amount of the recommended product by submitting your receipt after purchasing in-clinic or via our online pharmacy. We reimburse preventatives purchased outside of the plan at the plan rate.
